Hello June from Winnie

Winnie was advertised in 2014 on Gumtree cheaply which raised the 'at risk' flag, as a 5 year old bitch having had 4 litters and only being with her current owner for 6 months. Her new owner unfortunately due to a marriage break up was trying to find her a new home.

One of our volunteers called her owner just to offer some advice on finding her a good home. Winnie’s owner got back in contact with EF and asked if we could help as she really didn't want her being passed around. Winnie had already been through enough having been used for breeding so EF took her into its family.

Winnie was Tracy & Richard Barratt’s very first foster, she settled in well and was adopted in 2014 by Cassie Jones and will shortly be celebrating her 3rd gotcha anniversary on 6th June.

Winnie is a regular at our Welsh fundraising events, an absolute superstar and was recently out with the team at Pets at Home Bridgend. When Winnie isn’t fundraising she loves chasing cats, going for walks with her family, hiding under high chair waiting to see what falls from the sky and just enjoying a better way of life.

The Edward Foundation works purely on donations, our vets bills last year were £75,000.00, we took in 179 bulldogs and rehomed 222. Without continued support from our supporters and volunteers this wouldn't be possible. In six years so far we have rescued 640 dogs.

If you would like to donate and help many other dogs just like Winnie this would be very much appreciated.
