Ms July EF Betty

We were contacted by Betty’s owners in November 2015 and asked to take her due to a relationship breakdown and being left for up to 10hrs at a time. Betty also had skin problems which her owner was finding hard to manage.

At the time Betty was only a year old, a very sweet girl that had barely been walked and so scared of the outside world. Melanie and her partner Lee went and collected and also fostered Betty.

Betty’s skin was in a terrible state, once seen by an EF vet who confirmed she had demodex.

Fast forward nearly 2 years, Betty is now unrecognisable, no longer the little scared girl with demodex, Betty is loving life, going on holidays with her family, attending walks, events and sunbathing in the garden.

Betty is one of many dogs rescued by EF, scared, left for hours on end or needing treatment, without our supporters this would not be possible,.

The Edward Foundation works purely on donations, our vets bills last year were £75,000.00, we took in 179 bulldogs and rehomed 222. Without continued support from our supporters and volunteers this wouldn't be possible. In six years so far we have rescued 644 dogs.

If you would like to donate and help many other dogs just like Betty this would be very much appreciated.
